We loved staying at the Coach House! Lucy and her team were super welcoming and lovely to work with. The rooms were very comfy and the beautiful rain shower was a treat after a few days of travel. Thanks!
Had a lovely stay here the room was perfect and the staff were really helpful. We booked room 10 but were given an upgrade to room 11 which was beautiful it was spotlessly clean. The view's from the room were amazing even the church bell's ringing out on Sunday morning didn't bother us. We had breakfast across the road at the Curious Fox which was lovely served hot and filled us up for the day. So thankyou to all the staff at the Coach House we will definitely be back (if you'll have us)
A delightful guest house. A very very warm welcome by a lovely hostess. The place is traditional with a modern twist and is in an excellent location for venturing into Skipton to visit the eateries/shops/bars and have days out in the dales. The bar is reasonably priced within the guest house itself and the breakfast served on a morning is just right. The only downfall is if you're a light sleeper, take ear plugs, church bells tolling every 15mins all night and a busy main road outside. Besides that, nothing wrong with the guest house at all. We will be back.
Lovely little hotel, perfect location and breakfast at Curoius Fox an added bonus. We were in room 11 and it was spacious and clean, tea and coffee making facilities, everything you'd need for a weekend away, would definately stay again.
Stayed here for 2 nights, lovely big room, bed comfortable, large bathroom. Room directly opposite church, beautiful view. Sunday morning church bells rining, Bar downstairs really warm and welcoming. 5 minutes walk to bars ,restaurants, lots of shops. Only no breakfast, a little disappointing.
Absolutely stunning hotel, the bridal suite was beautiful with a bath in the room. The food was very much worth the money, qnd the staff were amazing. The only thing I would add would be some fans to cool the rooms down when it's hot and muggy - but we didnt ask at reception so they may well have been available on request. Thanks for making that side of my mum and dads wedding so beautiful xx
We stayed in the penthouse suite over new year. Very easy check in. Absolutely beautiful room, comfy bed, chairs, lots of space. Tea, coffee and bottle of water provided. We had a coded room, so there was no need to take a key out with us. One parking space per room allocated just across the road which was ideal. The coach house is right round the corner from the town centre, so perfect for all bars, cafes etc. Location is just great...we did the skipton castle woods walk and canal walk. Train station is only a 10 to 15 minute walk. Owner was very speedy to respond to us via WhatsApp. Would definitely return and recommend, little gem!. Tiny couple of suggestions...a quicker boiling kettle/ add a small fridge in the room for keeping the fizz and water cool.
This is a must stop place while in the area. My wife and I travel to this area for work and have stayed in several hotels within a 30 minute radius, with this one being the absolute favorite. Lucy is super friendly and attentive. The rooms are well kept and clean. You can get a really nice breakfast included across the street if you book your stay direct. The beds are very very comfortable with great pillows. Per my wife they update the room decorations often (I don’t notice that stuff lol) The coffee and tea selection is one of the best I have had offered. The location is perfect. You can walk to the train station in about 10-12 mins. If you drive there is one free parking spot included for each room. We will definitely be back!
